No one can fail to be amazed by the wild and stunning spectacle of the Adršpach rock city. Thousands of rock towers, deep gorges, exposed viewpoints on clifftops, narrow passages wedged in between cold walls, lakes and waterfalls... The sightseeing tour takes you through this rock city’s most beautiful spots. Near the rocks, the Adršpach chateau is a haven of peace and quiet, with an exhibition, a climbing museum, an escape game, a café and an information centre. Above the chateau, right on the edge of the Adršpach Rocks, it’s worth a visit to Old Chateau Hill with its ruined castle. You can also climb the nearby Křížový vrch, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the rocks and the distant Giant Mountains. If you want to enjoy the rocks in peace even during the main tourist season, we recommend going there in the early morning or late afternoon. A reservation system for tickets to Adršpach Rocks was launched on 1 April 2021. You need to buy tickets and book your parking space online at www.adrspasskeskaly.cz.

The Adršpach rock city is made up of sandstone blocks. Together with Teplice Rocks, it is the largest complete rock city in the Czech Republic. These two rock cities are famous throughout Europe. The rock city is reached via a marked sightseeing circuit, which you can walk on your own or have a guided tour. Guided tours of the rocks can be booked at the Adršpach Information Centre or at the ticket office by the entrance to rocks. You can take a ferry ride on the upper lagoon above the Great Waterfall. Adršpach Rocks also offer plenty of opportunities for rock climbing on routes of varying difficulty. The rocks can be climbed only in designated areas and under certain rules. Some of the rock city’s more famous formations include are the Lovers, the Mayor and Mayoress, the Jug, the Sugar Loaf, the Elephant Square, and many more...
