Picturesque landscape with islands of wild nature

Natural monuments
The Broumov region is known for its natural beauty. The most valuable of these are its two national nature reserves. Covering an area of 17 km2, the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks is one of the largest rock towns in Central Europe. This place, and the second national nature reserve, the rocks at Broumovské stěny, are exceptional for their relief and climate, and are home to some unique flora and fauna. The top part of the Ostaš table mountain and the extremely varied Křížová cesta near Adršpach were declared nature reserves in 1956. Borek and Kočičí skály rocks are natural heritage sites.
